Our company was established in 1976 under the name MAPO (Machinery – Research – Project – Organization) Engineering Ltd. Co. and has been operating since 1984 under the corporate title Mapo Engineering and Automotive Industry Inc.
For over 30 years, our company has been manufacturing automotive-type air compressors for the domestic automotive OEM industry under its registered MAPO brand. In addition, we produce automotive-type air compressors as well as various machinery and compressor spare parts for both domestic and international automotive markets.
MAPO sustains its presence by embracing quality as a way of life, together with its customers, partners, employees, and suppliers. In line with this philosophy, the company obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate in 2005, followed by the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Certificate and the OHSAS 18001:2004 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate in 2007.
